If you like art, and you like pups, then allow us to get your tails thumping with this:
On October 9th, the BarkGood team will be hosting a pawsome art event in NYC — featuring doggy art!
We’re sniffin’ out some of the fluffiest, derpiest, dog-inspired artwork for our gallery event, and we’d love to find some furever homes for our BarkBuddy dogs at the same time. For those of you who don’t know, BarkBuddy is like Tinder for dogs. It helps match up shelter dogs with prospective pup parents.
So here’s where you lovely Jackson Pawlock and Claude Bonet come in. Find a BarkBuddy using the app, feature him/her in a digital art piece, and your creation could appear at our event, where it will be printed and sold to buyers. Along with printing and hanging the work at the gallery show, we will be selling the work online throughout the month of October. 50% of proceeds will go to a local rescue, 25% to the lovely arftist, and 25% towards the printing and event costs.
The submission deadline is Monday, September 29. All arftists who send in a submission, whether their artwork is featured or not, will be invited to the show.
To submit the piece, email the digital file to email@example.com. Make sure to include:
- The dimensions for the printed image.
- The price.
- The BarkBuddy link that inspired the piece.
The BarkGood team will contact the arftists whose work will be featured in the show. We can’t wait to see your submissions!
