Fetch The Holiday Spirit And Make Your Own Hilarious Dog Ornaments

‘Tis the season for Christmas carols, eggnog, and trimming the tree – and any pup parent’s home wouldn’t be complete without an ornament in the shape of your furry family members. Am I right? This year, make sure your pup feels the love with this super easy and fun DIY project. Why put it away after the pawlidays? This will provide laughs all year long. Let’s get started!

What you’ll need:
• Chenille bump stems (They’re just fancy pipe cleaners. We got ours here.)
• Scissors
• Tape runner or glue stick
• Glue gun
• Mini dollhouse bottlebrush trees (optional)
• Mini dollhouse candy canes (optional)

Oh, and don’t forget an extra set of helping paws!

First, have your pup assistant sniff around to locate your tape runner or glue gun.

Rut roh! The rest of the steps require opposable thumbs. You might want to take it from here.

Step 1
Using a tape runner with double-sided tape or a glue stick, attach a photo of your pup onto a postcard or other thick piece of paper so it’s nice and sturdy. Cut out your pup’s head.

Step 4
Take the other 1/2 of your chenille stem and wrap it around the top of the folded stem. Wrap it a few times until the arms are as long as you’d like them to be.

Step 8
To finish it off, cut a piece of yarn or ribbon about 6 inches long and, using your glue gun, attach it to the back of your ornament so you can hang it from the tree.
