Google Street View Gives The Perfect Holiday Gift To One Bereaved Pup Parent

When one Israeli pup parent lost his beloved dog, he was even more devastated to realize that he had no pictures of the pup. An accident with his hard drive erased all the pictures.

However, learning from reddit about a website that gives you a personalized message via Google street view after typing in your address, he went on and discovered a lone snap of his doge, lazing in the sun.

As The Mirror reported, he thanked the person who posted the pictures on reddit (his user name is belanor):

“Thank you, thank you, thank you for this. You don’t understand what happened because of this video.

I have never looked at my house on street view before (strange, huh?). This was the first time. The images for Israel are a few years old, probably around five years in most cases.

At the end of the video it lets you just look around freely. I look around my house, look over at my parking stop, and there he was. Lazying about in the sun was my plump little fata** of a dog, who was my favorite thing in the world until he died a few years ago.

I have almost no pictures of him due to my not backing anything up and my HDD being destroyed in a power surge,” the owner continued.

This is now his legacy, this is now the only picture I have of him. So thank you, kind stranger, for supplying me with this wonderful piece of nostalgia. I love the internet.”

After which, another reddit user offered to clarify the resolution of the pup’s picture. Another made a portrait of his pup.
