As if vacationing in Hawaii isn’t pawesome enough, the Kauai Humane Society makes it even better with a program that benefits tourists and shelter dogs.
The dog days are over. This is the life!
Vacationers missing their pooches or wanting to show some ruv to pups who need homes can check out one of their dogs for a field trip.
See ya later, muthapuppas! Headed to the beach.
Hoomans and pups can enjoy a day trip to Mahaulepu Beach, a hike at Sleeping Giant, or explore Waimea Canyon.
Don’t ask me about my lei. I’m a lady, not a tramp.
The shelter provides everything you need for a doggie day date, including an “adopt me” vest just in case you run into the dog’s furever family. If you decide you want to take your furry friend home (yes, this happens weekly!), then the shelter will help work out all of the details.
I ruv the great outdoors.
Shelter life wears a dog down, and field trips give them a good way to blow off some energy or get some much needed relaxation. Plus, who doesn’t want some doggie smooches while on vacation?
Field trips are the best!
