Not many people can say balloon animals put them through college, but that was the case for Jeremy Telford from Utah. While most of his peers were learning how to put on rubbers, Jeremy was learning how to mold rubber.
A professional balloon sculptor, Jeremy’s career is his passion. And like anyone with a passion, his crowning achievement was to make it into the Guinness Book of World Records.
Looking to hold the record for ‘Largest Balloon Sculpture made by an Individual,’ Jeremy decided to take a stab at it by building a big, bulbous, pink, wiener dog!
The previous world record for Largest Balloon Sculpture made by an Individual was made in 2011, measuring 22 feet by 45 feet.
The Guinness Book of World Records’ official adjudicator flew in to verify Telford’s accomplishment, and confirm no internal support structure was used.
Using a total of 8,867 balloons, Telford’s master-pup-piece knocked it out of the dog park at a whopping-without-popping, 65 feet by 32 feet!
After achieving his goal, Telford took a weed whacker to the pink, plastic pup in an epic balloon bloodbath.
